Dr Elizabeth Burrell

Dr Elizabeth Burrell is a research affiliate at Monash University. She has published in The Journal of Religious History, Parergon, and The Bloomsbury Medieval Studies Encyclopedia of the Global Middle Ages, commissioned by Arc Humanities Press and Bloomsbury Academic. She also has a monthly history feature in The Veterinarian, Australasia’s veterinary magazine. Her academic monograph, Charms, Caregiving, and Health in the Late Middle Ages, is under contract with Arc Humanities Press.
Elizabeth was elected to the ANZAMEMS Council in 2026.
