Associate Professor Erin Griffey

Erin Griffey is Professor of Art History at The University of Auckland, where she has taught since 2002. She is an historian of visual and material culture in early modern Europe, especially relating to women. In addition to teaching and research, she is strongly committed to mentoring postgraduate students and ECRs and facilitating opportunities to present research, exchange ideas and support each other on their academic journeys.
Erin was elected to the ANZAMEMS Council in the role of Associate Secretary-Treasurer in 2026.
